Mechanical Seal for Jockey Pumps
Jockey Pumps are a small pump mainly used in fire protection services and are connected to a fire sprinkler mechanism to uphold pressure in the sprinkler pipes. Jockey Pump is to guarantee that if a fire-sprinkler is triggered, there will be a pressure drop, which will be detected by the fire pump’s automatic controller, that will initiate the fire pump to start. Mechanical Seals are deployed in Jockey Pumps to prevent leakage of liquid from back of the pump and to maintain high pressure required for efficient operation of jockey pumps.
