Mechanical Seal for Paddle Dryers
Paddle Dryers are heat transmission dryers processing organic and inorganic grainy and powdery constituents. Paddle Dryers dry or cool these ingredients by bringing them into direct contact by rotating them. Paddle Dryers find applications for powders, heat treatment of granules, filter cakes and pastry products in an entirely constant process. These procedures include cooling, drying, crystallisation, calcifications & melting, evaporating solvents, sterilising, etc. Paddle dryers are installed in a horizontal arrangement where the mechanical seal is moderately in direct contact with the product. That means that on the one hand the product itself and on the other hand the gas phase has to be mechanically sealed.
