Mechanical Seal for Rotary Dryers
Rotary Dryers also known as tumbling dryers are used to minimize the moisture content of feed ingredients by bringing it in direct contact with a heated gas. Rotary dryers are primarily used in the chemical and mineral industry and general applications are for dehydrating waste materials (citrus peels, vegetable trimmings) and animal feedstuffs (alfalfa). Mechanical Seals help to confirm that the rotary drum and whole process perform as intended by linking the gap between the rotating drum and the stationary housing to deliver a sealed processing environment inside the drum while still allowing the drum to rotate efficiently.
