Mechanical Seal for High Shear Mixers
High Shear Mixers are mixers having characteristics of high shear rates, high rotor tip speeds, localised energy dissipation rates, and higher power ingestion than ordinary mixers. High Shear Mixers are used to homogenise, emulsify, disperse, grind and/or dissolve immiscible mixtures with constituents of the same or different phases. Mechanical Seals for High Shear Mixers are used on the rotating shaft of the shear mixer in order to segregate the mix chamber from the environment.
